About the Foundation

In 2014, the Foundation for the Reading Pagoda (“Foundation”) was established to assist in the preservation, enhancement, and maximum community utilization of the property.

Today, the Foundation for the Reading Pagoda oversees the 116-year-old property, in partnership with the City of Reading and Pagoda Skyline Inc. Together, the entities steward the preservation for future generations to enjoy.  While the building is closed, the Foundation continues its efforts to educate the public on the importance of pausing to preserve the Pagoda’s longevity.
